We create value for our customers by creating and implementing unique ASPEN PIMS™ modelling solutions
1. Aspen PIMS™ LP model auditing projects:
Applied custom auditing procedures to Aspen PIMS™ LP models for ARAMCO owned refineries, ARAMCO local JV refineries and ARAMCO International Joined Venture refineries. Supported scenarios such as operational planning, business planning and feasibility studies, capturing deficiencies in LP structure and settings, reflecting economic impacts of $100K – $200K/day.
2. Aspen PIMS™ LP modeling projects:
A. Developed and implemented an integrated ARAMCO M-PIMS model for capital investment, representing synergies between ARAMCO owned and local JV refineries. This included quality transfers between refineries with different property tags and property correlations.
B. Developed and implemented unique LP structures following best practices, improving business representation.
3. Developed and implemented .Net desktop applications:
A. PIMS Results Analyzer: This application supports Aspen PIMS™ final and advanced users, tracking and analyzing the results of PIMS cases through visuals and excel reports with increased accuracy and efficiency.
B. Ras Tanura Refinery Aspen PIMS™ customized applications:
I. Ras Tanura Refinery margin excel report from PIMS, M-PIMS and X-PIMS, making the Ras Tanura LP output information independent of the gas section of the complex using local or global price scenarios.
II. Ras Tanura Refinery Naphtha/Gasoline and Diesel/Fuel Aspen PIMS™ flow diagrams, showing comparisons between case scenarios against current and average real data. This was implemented on the same Aspen PIMS™ and OSI Soft – PI desktop platform system data. The application is used on a daily basis to follow the progress of the refinery plan versus actual results. Inconsistencies are identified to be adjusted in critical process units to achieve the desired plan. It is also used to perform LP model back-casting tasks.
